In the past two grading periods (3rd and 4th grading), I was having a hard time in understanding our lessons. Most of the time if you would look at the problems you’ll think that it’s just easy but when you start to solve and analyze it, you’ll sure have a headache! I always listen to our teacher and give my best to understand the lessons, but when she gives us exercises it’s as if I didn’t care to listen on our discussion!

Our lesson on array is not that hard but the nested for is quite puzzling. There are some problems that are just easy to solve but you really need to think of it carefully to arrive on the answer. Even though I’m having a hard time, I still enjoy this subject especially on our hand on sessions I find it as an adventure (hehehe).

I hope I would still pass this 4th grading. I hope I have managed to have a good grade now because my grade last 3rd quarter is very low.

Most memorable moments

For me the most memorable moment was when our teacher, Ms. Gallardo, greeted us one morning and told as to sit down but the thing here is she said to us “ sige baba na” instead of “ sige upo na”. All of us laugh at that scenario. I also like when she is making a deal to us. For me, her style is a good way of educating us.

Most embarrassing moment

As far as I can remember, I don’t have an embarrassing moment in my computer science class. However, there are specific times in this class that I feel upset when our program in our hands-on is not working.

Comments to our teacher

My comment to our computer science teacher, Ms. Garllardo, is that she is a great teacher because she really exerts effort in teaching. She knows that her subject is not that easy and so she is really helping her class to have a different perception about this. She is also a strict teacher but for me it is just fine because it does a lot of help for us her students to be responsible enough in doing our task. One thing I like about her is that she is a funny teacher. She has a connection with us her students and she let us feel comfortable sitting in her room for one hour.

Things I learned

I must admit that I really had a tough time in studying this subject but the thing here is I learned. I also must admit that I did not master the entire topic in our cs class. However, the topic that I was really interested is the for. Hehehhehe…. I really find it the easiest topic for the cs class.
